Sexual Superfoods and Aphrodisiac Breakfast Recipe

With a fresh start in 2021 I would like to share information about 5️⃣ amazing food that are considered to be   Sexual Superfoods and most of them are in season now.

Pumpkin seeds – Boosts the libido both in men and women, packed with healthy nutrients and even a small serving can offer significant amounts of vitamins, antioxidants and healthy fatty acids. It is a great source of zing, that promotes the health of the prostate as well as boosts levels of testosterone.

Cranberry - good source of vitamin A and vitamin C which helps to boost the blood flow and therefore plays a key role in sexual health.

Pomegranate – symbol of fertility, considered a natural aphrodisiac since ancient times. The free radical-fighting antioxidants in pomegranate are great for improving the flow of oxygen in the body, which revitalises and improves blood flow.

Tahini - the paste made from sesame seeds. Sesame seeds are known for boosting female libido as well as for supporting sperm motility. It is rich in antioxidants, zinc, vitamin B, vitamin E, magnesium, iron and calcium.

Almonds – Good source of zinc (key in testosterone production), selenium, vitamin E (“sex vitamin” boosts the libido and support stamina) – all important in supporting sexual health. Also boosts the energy thanks to vitamin B6.

Here in the recipe of my morning porridge. I have realised that I consume all above listed five ingredients for my breakfast these days ?

Sexual Superfood Porridge

30g oats

250g almond milk

1 table spoon tahini

Pinch of salt

Boil and simmer everything together for 3-5 minutes and garnish with toasted pumpkin seeds, fresh or dried cranberries and pomegranate seeds.
