About Us

Hi, I’m Ana—founder of Namu.

Namu began in 2016 as a passion project—hosting intimate supper clubs and detox retreats where I could share my love for clean, nourishing food and meaningful connection. In 2019, that dream grew into a cozy café in Old Tbilisi, and later, in 2022, a New York-style spot tucked into a central residential neighborhood.

While the café chapter came to a close in June 2025, the journey is only getting sweeter. I’ve since leaned fully into what I love most: crafting wholesome, plant-based products that people can enjoy in their own homes.

All of my signature products—raw cakes, adaptogenic nut butters, aged vegan cheeses, keto crackers, and effervescent kombucha—are made without refined sugar, wheat flour (gluten), oils, or table salt. They're created with real ingredients, lots of care, and a deep respect for the body and mind.

My background is in positive psychology (I hold a PhD in it), but food has always been my passion. I've trained and cooked in places like Barcelona, Berlin, London, LA, Bali, and Punta del Este—each experience shaping how I see food: not just as fuel, but as joy, healing, and connection.
