Basil Cocktail

Ingredients:

1 cucumber, chopped
¼ cup lime juice (2-3 limes)
¼ cup basil
1 L water (or green tea)
2 tbsp agave or coconut sugar
Ice
Sparkling water (or kombucha)

Instructions:

Place chopped cucumber, lime juice (you can also add lime peel, but it will give the drink intensity and bitterness), basil, sweetener and water in a pot.
Bring to a boil and simmer over low heat for 10-15 minutes.
Set aside and cool.
Strain the liquid, squeeze the product well so that the juice comes out completely. Pour the liquid into a bottle and store in the refrigerator.

For serving, put ice in the glass, pour the liquid from the bottle,, if it is strong, add sparkling water (or kombucha). You can add basil leaves and thin slices of cucumber and lime.
